Training
Impact Capital believes training is essential to building organizational and programmatic capacity. Since 1996, Impact Capital has provided more than 2170 days of training for over 600 participants, and these numbers continue to grow.
Each year, a range of courses designed to augment the technical skills of housing and community development practitioners in Washington State are offered. They include the areas of housing and commercial development, asset management, and organizational development. From nationally recognized certification courses, like the National Development Council's Housing Development Finance series, to those designed by Impact Capital to cater to local concerns, the curriculum increases the ability of nonprofit organizations to efficiently deliver services to people and communities in need.
Impact Capital trainings are open to all organizations. Scholarships and travel support may be available to those who qualify. Please contact Tracy Reich at tracy@impactcapital.org or (509) 624-5936 to find out more about scholarships and training programs available.
