Operating Support
Cash investments to local CDCs are critical for supporting core operations and helping to build adequate working capital, an accumulation of which makes it possible for CDCs to compete with private developers for acquisition of properties strategic to the community's goals for revitalization. Impact Capital currently has two separate but related programs. OPERATING SUPPORT FOR SEATTLE CDC's In Seattle, operating support is provided to the nine members of the Seattle Community Development Collaborative: Capitol Hill Housing Improvement Program, Pioneer Square Community Development Organization, HomeSight, Interim Community Development Association, Seattle Chinatown International District Public Development Authority, Central Area Development Association, Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association, Southeast Effective Development, and White Center Community Development Association. STATEWIDE CAPACITY BUILDING INITIATIVE Impact Capital provides operating support to seven organizations in rural areas of Washington State. The organizations are: Spokane Housing Ventures, Inland Empire Residential Resources, Willapa Community Development Association, Grant County Housing Authority, Community Land Trust Alliance of the San Juan Islands, Housing Hope, and the Diocese of Yakima Housing Services.
