Technical Assistance Grants

As a nonprofit grows or undergoes change in response to the external environment, its internal systems, policies and procedures must also change. Impact Capital's technical assistance program provides the help needed to maintain an effective and highly functioning organization.

Capacity Grants

Capacity grants can help hire a consultant whose skills and experience match an organization's needs, allowing for:

• Development of a strategic business plan to guide your organization;
• Building a strong and effective Board of Directors;
• Improving the financial management of your nonprofit;
• Analysis and strengthening of the asset and property management function; and 
• Identification and response to human resources needs.

Impact Capital staff can assist in identifying and interviewing consultants, creating work plans, and managing the consultant contract.

Human Capital Development
Impact Capital has worked with local nonprofits to develop strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining the next generation of community development practitioners. Using funds provided through the Human Capital Development Initiative (HCDI), we sponsor summer internships, college degree clinics, and direct human resource consulting to community development agencies.

Scholarships
Scholarships are available to most of the workshops offered by Impact Capital. Check availability by reading the class description. In limited circumstances, scholarships may also be available to attend other special training opportunities not offered by Impact Capital.
