Spokane International District's Chinese New Year celebration a sucess

On February 5, 2011 the Spokane International District celebrated the Chinese New year. It was a perfect spring-like day and many people
came out with their families to experience Spokane’s International flavor.
Things got started with a lion dance performance which began at the Best Asian Market and continued up Sprague Avenue and throughout the district. The Chinese New Year celebration was a time to show appreciation to customers, friends, and neighbors that support the district, and was a good reason to “bring in the spring.”
The district partnered with Best Asian Market and the East Spokane Business Association to put on the event.
