This event is meant to bring together Impact Capital investors, the nonprofit development community, affordable housing advocates, the business sector, and elected officials and staff to discuss important issues relating to community development in Washington.
For this event, the topic will be Equitable Equity: The successes and challenges of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). The CRA will be examined by our distinguished panelists Craig Nolte, Regional Manager: Alaska, Idaho, Hawaii, Oregon & Washington, Federal Reserve of San Francisco, Mike Tierney, Executive Vice President of Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Jennifer Tuenon, Acting Executive Director, Medina Foundation, and David Sieminski, Managing Director, Express Advantage.
Discussion from this event will be summarized and submitted as written testimony to The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System at their public hearing on August 17th in Los Angeles regarding the assessment of current CRA regulations.
