Bank of America Merrill Lynch joins Jubilee events with top sponsorships

SEATTLE, WA – SEPTEMBER 12, 2011 – Bank of America Merrill Lynch, a long-time supporter of Impact Capital, has taken lead Jester's Jubileesponsorship roles for both the upcoming Jester’s Jubilee reception at the Housing Washington Conference in Spokane and the 2nd Annual Gingerbread Jubilee event in Seattle. These events will highlight the importance of community revitalization throughout Washington.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is committed to creating meaningful change within the communities they serve. They have been a generous supporter of Impact Capital for over 15 years through investments and contributions. In addition, Jan Laskey
(Senior VP, Community Development and Lending) has been an active participant on Impact Capital’s Board of Directors, including 2 years as President.

The Jester’s Jubilee reception, co-hosted with National Equity Fund, Inc., will take place on September 26, 2011, the opening night of the Housing Washington Conference, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center. The reception will showcase affordable housing and comprehensive community development.
Gingerbread Jubilee
The 2nd Annual Gingerbread Jubilee will take place at Farestart in Seattle on December 6, 2011. The reception will feature a live auction, and gingerbread house decorating contest between our local community development partners. Last year the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda) along with SMR Architects won the contest with a gingerbread dragon. This year they will return to compete as reigning champions. As Impact Capital’s inaugural fundraising event, the 2010 Gingerbread Jubilee raised $25,500, a portion of which went directly to the competing community partners.
